What is the best way to see the Águila Patrol in Tenerife?

Tomorrow, November 5, at 12:00 p.m. on Las Teresitas beach, an impressive aerial display of the Eagle Patrol and the Parachuting Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Armythus celebrating the 110th anniversary of Aviation in the Canary Islands.

This will be the first time that such an event has been held in the municipality, and it is expected to attract thousands of spectators in what will be a unique and festive day.

The events brought by the Águila Patrol and the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Army began on Thursday, November 2, with a signing of posters by the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol at El Corte Inglés on Tres de Mayo Avenue. On November 3 and 4, a flight simulator and an information stand in the Plaza de La Candelaria, in front of the Real Casino of Tenerife, with free access from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., allowed numerous citizens to get closer to the reality of both groups.

What do I have to take into account to be able to see the Águila Patrol in Tenerife?

To handle the expected influx, an increase in security and traffic management has been planned starting on Saturday the 4th. In addition, on Sunday two additional bus services will be offered from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., thus expanding TITSA line 910, which normally has 5 services in the morning and 5 in the afternoon on winter holidays, going on to operate 7 services.

The show organized by the Canary Islands Air Command will involve a security device from the Santa Cruz Local Police with 16 agents more for the regulation and control of traffic, in the direction of the capital’s beach, from early in the morning.

They will also be carried out controls in the parking area of ​​the beach and in the town of San Andrés, next to the connections with the TF-12 and TF-121. Lane 0 of Las Teresitas beach Will remain closed to circulation during the show.

Citizens are recommended to use public transportation, which will be reinforced during the morning. The line 910 from Titsa, which connects the city with San Andrés, will give seven trips between 10:00 and 18:00 in both directions.

In addition, the Port Authority will keep the port service road open to traffic with the aim of facilitating the flow of traffic in the direction of San Andrés.
