The City Council of La Laguna, through the Department of Works and Infrastructure, will undertake today, starting at 9:30 a.m., different reinforcement works in a manhole located on the road that connects the neighborhoods of Taco and La Cuesta, to the height of the La Florida urbanization.
The councilor of the Area, Adolfo Cordobés, explained that “the work will be carried out urgently, given the risk of possible collapses on this road with so much vehicle traffic.” In this regard, the mayor clarified that this type of damage to manholes occurs over time due to the wear and tear of road traffic and the effects of inclement weather. Cordobés also pointed out that the works have been scheduled in a specific time slot (from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), so that they do not interfere with the entry and exit of vehicles at school centers.
Detours
The City Council of La Laguna apologizes for the inconvenience derived from these works and requests the collaboration of the population of the area and the citizens who usually travel along this road, so that they follow the instructions of the operators and the signage that will be located in the site of work to inform of relevant traffic closures and traffic detours.
In this last aspect, the City Council clarifies that timely access will be allowed to professionals from the businesses on that section of the road, always following the instructions of the construction staff.
