A woman, whose age is unknown, was injured this Thursday with serious multiple trauma after a collision between several vehicles in Arona, in the south of Tenerife.
The events occurred at 10:20 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received several alerts reporting that a front-to-side collision had occurred between two vehicles in the TF-66 and there were several injured people.
Consortium firefighters freed the affected woman who had been trapped inside the vehicle and the SUC staff, with the collaboration of the Primary Care staff, assisted and stabilized the injured woman for transport by medical helicopter to the La Candelaria Hospital.
At the scene of the incident, members of this service also assisted two men with minor injuries who were not evacuated to health centers.
The Local Police and the Civil Guard instruct the corresponding procedures, regulated the traffic on the road and enabled the area for the landing of the medical helicopter.
