Tenerife It has become the favorite destination of thousands of tourists who come every year to explore its beaches and mountains.. The Island has an exceptional natural landscape that invites tourists and residents to take a walk.

When it comes to walking, everyone has their preferences. And just as there are people who choose kicks thinking about Flora and fauna that you can admire along the way, there are also those who choose them because of the proximity to the reference guachinche where they will go to eat when they finish or those who look for viewpoints where they can discover the best panoramic views.

Los Silos is one of those municipalities that, although it may seem that it is not well known for its trails, it does have some natural spaces to attract walkers and retain them forever. In fact, this town has its own network of municipal trailsin addition to others that belong to the Teno Rural Park or to Tenerife Council.

In the Teno Rural Park we find one of the options to take a route between beautiful landscapes. The PR-TF 53 trail The Silos – Black Caves – Erjos It is a route of medium difficulty with 5.3 kilometers away.

The tour is designed to enjoy the landscape, surrounded by trees and bushesbut also to delight in the views that open between the mountains and that invite you to take out your camera or mobile phone to record them.

In addition, it has connections with other trails:

  • PR-TF 51 San José de Los Llanos – Punta de Teno.

  • PR-TF 52 Erjos – Las Portelas (Monte del Agua)

  • PR-TF 53.1 Black Caves – Tierra del Trigo

  • PR-TF 54 Los Silos – Las Moradas – Monte del Agua

Also in the Teno Rural Park we can enjoy another popular trail. In this case, the PR-TF 54, which runs The Silos, The Moradas and Monte del Agua. Almost 12 kilometers long, this route is highly difficult.

At first, the route is shared with the Monte del Agua trail. However, after about four kilometers this track is left to travel about three kilometers to Las Moradas de Arriba and Las Moradas Bajas. Then you have to follow the slope of the Las Moradas ravine until you reach Isla Baja and continue to Los Silos.

Throughout this route you will travel through different spaces, sometimes with more vegetation, other times between open fields, which will allow you to enjoy the views. Without a doubt, an option to take into account.

From this route we can also connect with the following Tenerife trails:

  • PR-TF 51 San José de Los Llanos – Punta de Teno

  • San José de Los Llanos – Mirador de Baracán

  • PR-TF 52 Erjos – Las Portelas (Monte del Agua)

  • PR-TF 53 Los Silos – Cuevas Negras – Erjos
