The Eagle Patrol and the Acrobatic Parachuting Patrol of the Air and Space Army will be held this Sunday, November 5, an area exhibition at 12:00 p.m. on Las Teresitas beach, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 110th anniversary of aviation in the Canary Islands.
This was announced yesterday by the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, in the presentation of the program of activities that will take place from November 2 to 5 in the capital, “in an exhibition that will be held for the first time in our municipality and which, I am convinced, thousands of people will enjoy on a day that we want to be festive.” From Saturday there will be special reinforcement in terms of security and traffic, while on Sunday two extra bus services will be added, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., depending on passenger demand. Specifically, Titsa line 910 will be reinforced, which will operate with seven services between the morning and afternoon.
The program of activities will begin this Thursday with the signing of posters of the Parachute Acrobatic Patrol of the Air and Space Army at El Corte Inglés on Tres de Mayo, starting at 1:00 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, a flight simulator and an informative stand of the Air and Space Army will be installed in the Plaza de La Candelaria, right in front of the Real Casino of Tenerife, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. An activity with free entry. And on Sunday the 5th, starting at 12:00 p.m., the air show will take place.
For their part, the military announced that a rehearsal for the air show will be held this Thursday.
