AEMET WEATHER CANARY ISLANDS |  What will the weather be like in the Canary Islands this Wednesday?

Canary Islands this Wednesday will have cloudy skies towards the end of the day without ruling out that some generally weak and occasional precipitation may fall and more likely in the early morning, as predicted by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The wind will blow weak to moderate from the northeast, more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes of the islands with greater relief, being weak with variable direction on the summits.

As for the state of the sea, the wind will blow from the southwest or west with force 3 or 4, specifically 5, and there will be rough seas or swells. Northwest swell 2 to 3 meters high.

This is the forecast by islands for this Wednesday:

High cloudiness during the first half of the day. Cloudy intervals of low clouds, with predominance of clearings in the afternoon. Low probability of some weak and scattered rain in the late hours, especially to the north. Maximum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing, especially to the east; minimums in slight ascent. Light wind of variable direction, tending to light to moderate northeast in the second half of the day, more intense at the end.

Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Reef 20 28

High cloudiness during the first half of the day. Cloudy intervals of low clouds, with a predominance of slightly cloudy skies during the afternoon. Maximum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing, especially to the east; minimums in slight ascent. Light wind of variable direction, tending to light to moderate northeast in the second half of the day, more intense at the end.

Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Puerto del Rosario 20 27

In the north, cloudy intervals, with wide clearings during the afternoon, and with a predominance of cloudy skies in the late hours, when some weak and occasional rain is not ruled out. In the rest of the areas, slightly cloudy, with high cloudiness during the first half of the day, and with some cloudy intervals in the southern midlands during the afternoon. Maximum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing; minimums in slight ascent. Light wind with a northern component, tending to be moderate from the northeast during the second half of the day, when it will be more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes. On summits, loose with variable direction, with a predominance of the northern component starting in the afternoon. Predominance of the breeze regime on southwest coasts.

Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): The Gran Canarian palms 23 26

In the north and northeast, cloudy intervals, with predominance of cloudy skies in the early and late hours, when some weak and occasional rain is not ruled out, and with wide clearings during the afternoon. In the rest of the areas, slightly cloudy, with high cloudiness during the first half of the day, and with some cloudy intervals in the southern midlands during the afternoon, where there will be a low probability of an occasional shower. Maximum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing; minimal with few changes. Light wind from the northeast, increasing to moderate in the second half of the day, more intense on the northwest and southeast slopes, especially from the afternoon onwards. On central summits, light wind, from the west until midday and from the north afterwards, getting worse at the end. Predominance of the breeze regime on southwest coasts.

Predicted minimum and maximum temperatures (°C): Santa Cruz de Tenerife 23 28

In the north, cloudy intervals, without ruling out some weak and occasional rain in the early and late hours, with wide clearings during the afternoon. In the south, little cloudy in general, with high cloudiness during the early morning and early morning hours. Maximum temperatures unchanged or slightly decreasing; minimal with few changes. Light to moderate wind from the northeast, more intense on northwest and east slopes, especially from the afternoon. On summits, light of variable direction tending to a light north component in the afternoon. Predominance of the breeze regime on the south and southwest coasts.
