SAN SEBASTIÁN DE LA GOMERA, Oct. 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Geographic Institute (IGN) detected this Monday a series of four earthquakes in La Gomera, the largest of magnitude 2.8, felt by the population and located in the sea at a depth of 10 kilometers at 02:58 am.
In addition, three others with a magnitude between 1.7 and 1.5 have been located in the municipalities of Hermigua, Alajeró and San Sebastián de la Gomera, all on land and between 14 and 26 kilometers deep.
This series of four earthquakes joins two others recorded on Sunday afternoon and evening in the capital, San Sebastián de la Gomera, with magnitudes between 2.3 and 2.1 and depths between 12 and 16 kilometers.
