The City Council of La Laguna, through the Department of Municipal Services, will extend the access hours of the five cemeteries of the municipality, in which musical atmosphere and different masses will also be offered to accompany families who come to look after their relatives. and relatives.
Municipal cemeteries will modify their opening and closing hours for October 31 and November 1, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., uninterrupted.
In addition, there will be musical atmosphere, which will be provided by:
- The Nuestra Señora de Lourdes music band for the Valle de Guerra cemetery
- The La Laguna Faith Symphonic Band in San Luis and San Juan
- Create a Musical Union for the cemeteries of Tejina and Punta del Hidalgo
- The San Sebastián Band, in Punta del Hidalgo and Tejina
Some of the performances have already taken place on the weekend prior to this All Souls’ Day, but the bulk of the performances will take place between Tuesday, October 31, and Thursday, November 2.
Commemorative masses will also be offered on November 1, in Valle de Guerra (5:00 p.m.) and Punta del Hidalgo (7:00 p.m.), and on November 2, in San Luis (10:00 a.m.), San Juan ( 4:00 p.m.) and Valle de Guerra (in a double session, at 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.).
In the five cemeteries of the municipality, maintenance work has been carried out, clearing, cleaning, planting of plant species and renewal of signage, repair of damage and identification plates, in addition to the acquisition of mobile coffins, which is a relief for the families who They wish to carry out their burials in these facilities.
