Several people have been injured to various degrees after the collision of a vehicle against the Tenerife tram on Ángel Romero Avenue, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Metropolitan and the Santa Cruz Local Police.
The accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. this Monday.
Those affected are a man who, at the initial time of assistance, had moderate injuries, except for complications, and two other men, one 31 years old, and two women, one 55 years old, who suffered minor injuries, except complications.
The staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted the six affected people, three of them were ambulance personnel and three others were occupants of the tram, and transferred five of them to different hospitals.
At the scene, near the Brewery, members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium, several SUC ambulances, several Local Police crews and tram personnel have intervened.
All security and emergency resources have worked and assisted the affected people while trying to maintain the flow of traffic at that point and around 12:50 p.m. the circulation of Line 1 has been restored.
