Drago Canarias appoints Alberto Rodríguez as president

Drago’s national secretariat Canary Islands has appointed the former deputy in a meeting held in La Laguna Alberto Rodriguez as party president and Carmen Peña Curbelo as spokesperson for the organization.

The formation has reported in a statement that This appointment is in addition to other internal positions as the person responsible for Organization and Confederation, the Board of Directors and those responsible for the Confederal Thematic Blocks.

Thus, The national spokesperson falls to Carmen Peña Curbelooriginally from the north of Tenerifewhile Héctor Morán from Telde assumes the position of head of Organization and Confederation, whose work is linked to the organization of the political space and its relationship with other spaces.

Likewise, in the island area, the spokesperson for Tenerife will be Carmen Pestano, the spokesperson for Gran Canaria will be led by Luis de La Barrera, the The Palm by Sara Hernández, the one from Lanzarote by Rafael Jiménez and that of Fuerteventura by Aceysele Chacón.

During the meeting, the members of the Board of Directors party’s statutory body, which will be composed of Alberto Rodríguez as president, Mar Jiménez as vice president and Aceysele Chacón as secretary.

Likewise, the national secretariat has selected those responsible for the Thematic Blocks, who will be in charge of manage work teams from the different areas of the party.

These appointments come after the Founding Assembly held last weekend in Telde, which served to provide the party with management bodies and the necessary framework documents in order to continue strengthening the organization with the new political cycle as an objective.

Likewise, an Assembly will be held on December 16 Policy with all those people who have collaborated in Drago Canarias in what the party has defined as a meeting that will serve to bring together the party’s bases and continue debating and voting on the political lines of the organization.
