SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 30 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo of Tenerife and the Adeje City Council have launched the VI edition of Tenerife Fashion Beach, an event that will take place on November 1, 3 and 4 in the municipality of Adeje, and that can be followed via streaming throughout the world.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Manuel Fernández; the CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, Dimple Melwani; the Councilor for Tourism of the Adeje City Council, Patricia Paulsen; and journalist Jesús María Montes-Fernández presented this initiative today, Monday, in which more than 20 companies will participate: 11 swimwear firms, supported by a dozen brands specialized in accessories.
The counselor stated that the Cabildo supports this type of act taking into account that they contribute not only to the consolidation of the tourist destination, but also to the diversification of the island’s economy, the strengthening of the productive fabric and, therefore, the generation stable and quality employment.
Manuel Fernández stressed that events like this “value Tenerife talent while placing Tenerife as a reference and an attractive place, not only to come on vacation, but also to invest and develop business projects.”
For her part, the CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, Dimple Melwani, highlighted “the work carried out by the Adeje City Council in the organization of this event, which brings together professionals, influencers and fashion journalists these days.” .
Melwani pointed out that if there is something that differentiates Tenerife from other tourist destinations “it is the unbeatable climate throughout the year, which allows this initiative to be celebrated outdoors: Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje is consolidated as a leading event on the national scene, combining tourism and fashion, since both sectors can benefit respectively from their promotion, commercialization and dissemination”.
The Councilor for Tourism of the Adeje City Council, Patricia Paulsen, highlighted that they will continue working in a coordinated manner to continue promoting events of this caliber: “It is a very good promotion for Tenerife and for Costa Adeje. The climate we have here already makes us a reference, Therefore, we will add the fashion reference to our climate, making visible the work of professionals in the sector on our islands.”
The Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje will bring designers and swimwear brands to the catwalk and will have as a finishing touch the presence of the brand Lola Casademunt, which brings its first women’s swimwear collection to Tenerife coinciding with the celebration of its 40 years in the fashion world.
Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje can be followed digitally through official platforms and delayed television and, in its new edition, it will once again feature the international top model and TVE presenter, Nieves Álvarez, who will be in charge of hosting the catwalk with the renowned TVE presenter in the Canary Islands, Roberto Herrera.
