SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Friday, the Cabildo of Tenerife approved a motion to agree on the execution of the island’s roads with the Government of the Canary Islands following a motion from the Socialist Group that was amended in its entirety by CC, PP and Vox.
The text includes a total of eight points with the aim of continuing to promote the execution of the works relating to the island of Tenerife that are included in the Canary Islands State Highways Agreement 2018-2027.
The agreement includes urging the Government of the Canary Islands to reach a consensus on the solution to the La Laguna Ring Road project, the Bypass of the TF-5, on the Northern Highway with the Tenerife Cabildo and begin the works after the appropriate legal processing.
In the signed text, it is also agreed to request the Canary Islands Executive to coordinate with the island corporation the start of the works on the Fañabé Playa de Las Américas TF-1 False Tunnel, on the South Highway after the appropriate legal processing.
The Plenary also requests the Government of the Canary Islands to reach an agreement with the Cabildo of Tenerife on the solution of the TF-5 works project from Los Realejos to Icod and to start the works after the appropriate legal processing, as well as to ask the Canary Islands Government to reach an agreement with the Cabildo de Tenerife the solution to the project and continue with the processing of the TF-5 third rail project.
The motion also asks the Government of the Canary Islands to agree with the Cabildo of Tenerife on the solution of the project and to continue with the processing of the third lane project of the TF-1 Autopista del Sur from San Isidro to Playa Las Américas, as well as to agree on the solution of the tunnel of La Gorgorana.
The agreement also includes urging the regional government to reach an agreement with the Cabildo of Tenerife on the TF1-TF2 Santa María del Mar Link connection project.
