Maritime Rescue has rescued three boats with 382 migrants on board in waters near the islands of The iron and Tenerife late in the afternoon of this Sunday and during the early hours of this Monday, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 Canary Islands and Red Cross.
Specifically, during the early morning Maritime Rescue rescued a canoe with 229 migrants in waters near El Hierro, among whom there were 24 minors.
All of them were assisted by the health device at the La Restinga dock, in El Pinar, presenting good general condition although they had to perform six assists due to hypothermia but without transfers.
In Tenerife
In waters near the Tenerife islandMaritime Rescue rescued during this morning a boat with 85 men, including 13 minorswho were assisted by the health device at the Los Cristianos dock, in Arona, where one of the people required assistance for trauma to a lower limb.
Previously, late this Sunday afternoon, Rescue rescued another boat, with 68 people, who were transferred to the Las Galletas dock, in Arona, where two people had to be transferred due to different pathologies.
