These are the videos that excite the Kings in Tenerife

The Kings of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia Ortiz, have presided this Tuesday, October 24, the tribute gala to distinguish the troops who have fought to extinguish the fire of Tenerife, that began last August 15 in the Arafo mountains, affecting 12 municipalities, more than 14,000 hectares and a perimeter of 90 kilometers.

An event that included the representation of the security and extinction equipment and forces who worked hard to put an end to a fire that, precisely this Tuesday, went to zero level, as well as with affected neighbors and members of the local, insular and regional corporations.

During the event, very heartfelt moments were experienced and the Kings were able to see several emotional videos that leave no doubt about what has been experienced since the flames began on the Island on August 15.

One of the most sensitive moments was when a video was broadcast about the natural beauty of the island, that which has largely been affected by the fire, while the song ‘I am from the land in which I live’ played, performed by the singers Chago Melián and Fabiola Socas.

Another exciting situation was when Felipe and Letizia were able to learn the testimonies of some of the affected by the fire, which forced thousands of families to leave their homes. People who left their homes with their animals without knowing when they would be able to return, neighbors who made their properties available to others, people who saw the flames up close with the fear that it would affect their homes…

An endless number of emotions that were transmitted to the public and, of course, also to the monarchs.

Furthermore, it was also possible to verify in another video the unit of the canaries through the professionals from the rest of the Archipelago who did not hesitate for a second to leave for Tenerife to help the teams on the Island.

Without a doubt, a special day that will be marked in the memory of those who fought against the flames and also in the rest of the people who have been able to experience the gala in first person.
