The Cabildo of Tenerife, through the Employment and Education area, promotes basic digital skills among the adult population, especially in those groups that have to interact electronically with the Administration to carry out specific procedures such as applying for scholarships or similar procedures.
Thus, a series of training pills of 20 hours of training have been prepared that can be requested by the municipalities and the Associations of Mothers and Fathers of the Students (Ampas). The pills cover topics such as basic digital tools, Google tools, social networks, online job search, digital certificate and introduction to digital design.
The Minister of Employment and Education, Efraín Medina, explained that all Tenerife town councils, from any of their council offices, can request one or more pills to be carried out in their offices with groups from their municipality. “We are talking about senior centers, users of Social Services, municipal workers or local associations that can use these training pills. In addition, the pills can also be requested by the Ampas, thus adapting the training to the specific training demand of families,” he added. he.

The requesting entity (city council or Ampa) undertakes to agree on a date and place of training and to disseminate and have a location in conditions to be able to provide technological training.
