A man who could not get out of the water on a beach in Tenerife was rescued by helicopter



A man, whose age is unknown, was rescued from the sea around 6:30 p.m. this Saturday when he was in trouble in Playa Jardín, in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife).

As indicated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2), the man had to be lifted from the water by a GES helicopter. Once on board, he was assisted on the La Guancha helipad and transferred by basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to the La Guancha Health Center for evaluation.

The police forces activated by the Coordinating Center collaborated in the deployed device and made the appropriate reports.
