Santa Catalina Park will become the epicenter of gastronomy and music on October 20 and 21 with the celebration of the first edition of Las Palmas Burger Fest. Organized by Beers Tenerifethe festival promises to be an unforgettable event after its successful history in places like El Médano, The lagoon and Santa Cruz of Tenerife.
The festival will bring together the best hamburger restaurants in the Archipelago, marking their first foray into Gran Canaria’s vibrant gastronomic scene. In addition, it will have the presence of prominent DJs from the Islands, who will set the rhythm and the festive atmosphere at the event.
One of the most anticipated moments of the festival will be the gastronomic contest in which the best burger of the event will be chosenwith the participation of CanaryFoodies experts.
Schedules and activities
Event hours will be extended from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Fridayand from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on Saturdaywith free entry for all attendees. The music will be provided by DJs Tana Sandoval, Juana la Cubana, MCR Selector, Raíl la Capria, Fano and Woodhands, and more surprise artists are expected in the coming dates.
The burger stands present will be a selection of the best, including All or Nothing, Rockabilly, Walking around the World, Kaleta, Malditas Smashburgers, 200 Grams, La Chula, Madre Mía, La Chachi, Estarico, Mostazza, Vienna 30, Leo Burger, and the foodtruck Customs Argentinas.
In addition, the event will have the outstanding participation of Tabaiba x Cielo, a restaurant with a Michelin Star, marking a milestone in the festival. For the first time, the Beers de Tenerife stand will also be present at Las Palmas Burger Fest. For lovers of sweets, there will be a special stand run by Sweet This Cookie 21.
Craft beer enthusiasts will be in luck in the corner Craft Beerwhere you can taste the best Canarian craft beers, including Jaira, Tierra de Perros, Vagamundo, Agüita, Galotia, La Armada, Ranilla, as well as various beers from around the world.
This gastronomic and musical meeting has the collaboration of the Las Palmas City Council from Gran Canaria, Naviera Armas, Hyundai Canarias and Tropical, guaranteeing a high quality and fun event for all attendees.
