Maritime Rescue has rescued four boats with about 340 migrants59 of them unaccompanied minors, in waters near Canary Islands during the last night and early morning of this Thursday, according to data from the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 of the Canary Islands and the Red Cross.
During the early morning, Maritime Rescue rescued two canoes, one with 74 people of sub-Saharan originone of them minor, who have been transferred to the La Restinga dock, in El Pinar (The iron).
The second rescued cayuco, with 90 migrants of sub-Saharan origin, 22 of them unaccompanied minors, were transferred to the Los Cristianos dock, in Arona (Tenerife).
These boats are joined by two others that were rescued during the night of this Wednesday, one of them with 96 sub-Saharan migrants, of which 36 are minors. In this case they were also taken to the Los Cristianos dock where three men required medical assistance.
And the other boat, with 80 men of sub-Saharan origin, was rescued and transferred to the dock Great Tarajal, in the Fuerteventura island.
