SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 19 (EUROPA PRESS) –

After the welcome of this meeting, by the Secretary General of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Salvador Iglesias, the Director of Documentation of the Senate since 2007, Josefa Fuentes, offered the opening presentation and highlighted that the Canarian Chamber “has provided a welcome with all necessary elements to make a meeting as important as this possible, in two days, in a synthetic and very interesting way.

In October 2009, a group of information, documentation and library services professionals from regional parliaments of the Spanish State launched the Parliamentary Network.

This collaboration platform makes it possible for all the regional chambers of the country to now be interconnected, which has represented a great advance in the dissemination of parliamentary activity and has become an extraordinarily useful tool for professionals and the general public.
