
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The acting Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, will make a working visit to the island of El Hierro this Thursday in which he will meet with the staff dedicated to caring for migrants.
The meeting will be attended by the president of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, the Government delegate, Anselmo Pestana, and the president of the Cabildo of El Hierro, Alpidio Armas, as well as representatives of the entities that work in the area.
The meeting with the migrant care teams will take place starting at 11:00 a.m. at the headquarters of the Insular Directorate of the General State Administration in the municipality of Valverde.
José Luis Escrivá’s visit occurs in the same week in which the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, has also been in the islands to chair a new meeting of the Immigration Coordination Authority.
