SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The forest fire that has affected the island of Tenerife since last August 15 has not recorded significant reproductions except for some small ones within the burned area without major significance and the night has passed without notable incidents.
The extinguishing operation that worked during the night on the Tenerife forest fire was made up of some 41 BRIFOR members from the Cabildo de Tenerife, the UME and Firefighters from the Consortium, who concentrated their activity in the areas of Aguamansa, Santa Úrsula and mainly in Ravelo. Today, Sunday, six aerial means of extinction will intervene to support the work of the ground teams.
At 10:30 a.m. an INFOCA technical coordination meeting will be held in which the evolution of the fire during the night and the measures to be taken during today’s day will be analyzed.
