San Cristóbal de La Laguna will experience a weekend full of cultural activities for all tastes and ages, from the story night that will take place tomorrow, Saturday, to the day of dancing and fun Sun Dance Family Sessions, which will take place on Sunday. Story Night

The XXXI Night of Stories brings together 16 storytellers in La Laguna for a family audience on Saturday, October 14, in six sessions spread throughout the day. The programming is complemented by parallel activities with workshops (for children and adults), eight “Encountered Cloisters” with individual sessions in heritage patios, the proximity of the “Storytelling Walk” through the streets of La Laguna between sessions or the presentation of framed publications of the Tenerife Book Fair. All activities are free with limited capacity.
Egon Soda Concert

The Teatro Leal hosts the presentation in Tenerife of the fifth album by the Spanish band Egon Soda, a work that, under the title ‘Bellaurora’, will offer the public the personal proposal of this sextet based between Barcelona and Madrid. There are twelve songs that mix influences from timeless rock, pop, soul and even funk.

This initiative, organized by the Living Arts and Citizenship Laboratory of Tenerife and the collective for the dissemination of contemporary electronic music Neeve-Micromusic, seeks to help children and adults learn to take care of themselves and improve their health through movement.

‘Kronikas Project: The Lagoon’

Exhibition of comics from the ‘Kronikas: La Laguna’ project, an exhibition closely related to a magazine in which 15 Canarian and three international authors have participated, and which pays tribute to the historical and architectural heritage of the municipality and the function it performs as a source of inspiration for the creation of comics. Organized by the Cine+Cómic Foundation in collaboration with the La Laguna City Council, the Moebius Cultural Chair of the ULL, the Maison Autrique (Belgium), the Vitrina de Valonia (Cuba) and the magazine Kronikas.

”Monument. Nine Guanche incarnations

The Canarian artist Yapci Ramos (La Laguna, 1977) questions the forms of representation of the Guanche past from a contemporary prism. The exhibition is born from the concern and unease caused by the low presence in the public space of monuments that represent Guanche women and other subaltern identities, as well as the precolonial origin and the essence of the territory.
