SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has postponed the commercial revitalization activities this Saturday, as a preventive measure against the high temperatures that the Archipelago is experiencing, as reported by the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, who explained that due to the heat wave the four children’s workshops and the historical route scheduled for this Saturday are postponed and will not be held.
In this sense, Carmen Pérez has announced that the children’s workshops this Saturday, which were going to be held one in Plaza Mascareño, two in the Residencial Anaga playground and one in the Plaza de la Iglesia San Andrés, are postponed and will be incorporated into the programming of the Anaga Traditions Markets that will take place in San Andrés on October 28 and November 18. She added that the historic route through La Rambla and Los Lavaderos is also postponed to November 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Likewise, Pérez has reported that the Anaga Traditions Markets are part of the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy ‘Anaga in the heart – Santa Cruz de Tenerife’ and will be held on October 28 in the surroundings of the Infobox, the Pedro Schwartz Avenue and Ramón Guillermo Cruz Cabrera Square, and on November 18 on El Dique Street and surrounding areas and added that “these spaces will have a varied program of activities for all audiences and that we will announce soon.”
These actions are part of the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy ‘Anaga en el corazón-Santa Cruz de Tenerife’, 85% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain (POPE) 2014-2020, and by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, and specifically with line of Action 8 -Open Shopping Center: Economic and social promotion-.
