The extinction operation deployed last night in the forest fire Tenerifeformed by some 40 BRIFOR personnel from the Tenerife Council, the UME and Firefighters from the Consortiumhas worked in three main sectors.
In it Mamio – Orotava sector, after receiving some warnings about flames or glare on the slope, early this morning it has already weakened. In Santa Úrsula the ground teams have worked in hot spots and will continue to attack other points between the areas of Las Banderolas and Las Charquitas this morning. Finally, in the Ravelo sector, the entire perimeter of the reactivation has cooled down and hot spots are being turned off inside the Aguilillas area to avoid the movement that could activate the wind since weak gusts are expected early in the morning.
Today, Thursday, nine aerial means of extinction will intervene in addition to the teams deployed on the ground.
Yesterday, the aerial means carried out a total of 357 discharges with 441,200 liters of water.
