The organization of the career of Mountain Santa Cruz Extremefor which almost 900 people of 21 nationalities had registered, has been postponed to next November (17 and 18) due to the restrictions derived from the alert for the risk of forest fires in Tenerife.
Grade 2 measures for fire prevention include the prohibition of sporting events on forest and cross-country tracks and trails.
In addition, the organization has reported that it has taken into account the pre-alert situation due to high temperatures throughout the archipelago, as explained on social networks.
All registered participants will retain their registration rights, and those who cannot participate in November will be informed of the procedure to follow via emails.
The Santa Cruz Extreme was scheduled for this Friday and Saturday in the modalities of 60 kilometers (with a positive gradient of 5,000 meters), 33 kilometers, 18 kilometers, 10 kilometers, wheelchair and vertical.
