A sunny holiday in the Las Teresitas beacha paradisiacal corner on the coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, became a scenario of overwhelm and frustration for those who were trying to return to their homes during this Thursday afternoon.
The traffic jams that congested the access roads and exits to the beach caused a wave of complaints on social networkshighlighting the lack of reinforcements for the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in anticipation of the holiday and the massive attendance of people to San Andrés and the beach.
“We have been stopped for more than two hours in Las Teresitas. Anticipating a holiday and the problem, cash did not appear until 8:00 p.m. We have been stopped since 6:30 pm” or “can you explain the traffic jam that is so big in Las Teresitas that we have been there for 1 hour and a half without warning and the police are at the roundabout doing nothing?” These are some of the comments from users on the social network X.

Note to self: Do not go to Teresitas on a holiday.
We’ve been in the car for more than 30 minutes without moving and it looks like it’s going to be a long time.

@BermudezSCT holiday, the Teresas at their peak, have created a crazy funnel in San Andrés. And he will tell me to come by public transport, it is also stuck. Something happens here and the ambulance can come by helicopter.
