SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo of Tenerife, through the Foreign Action area, allocates 28,452.79 euros to the granting of up to three grants for carrying out training practices within the framework of the ‘Becas América’ project.
The insular director of Foreign Action, Pedro González, announces in a note that the deadline to access this aid opens this Thursday and indicates that “the objective of this initiative is to promote the internationalization of Tenerife’s economy, by promoting acquisition of knowledge and experiences, through internships carried out on the American continent”.
The ‘America Scholarships’ are aimed at graduates from Tenerife who are unemployed, resident on the island, in collaborating entities, which may be public entities or private companies and third sector entities, including cooperatives, associated labor companies and associations without profit motive.
This aid is divided into two parts, the payment of 700 euros per month (during the duration of the internship) as a subsistence allowance and the coverage of expenses such as plane tickets, rent, visa and mandatory vaccinations.
The beneficiaries will carry out an internship period for a maximum period of 5 months in a host entity, selected by FIFEDE.
The bases and requirements to apply for these scholarships can be consulted through the FIFEDE web portal, www.fifede.org.
