The mayor, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, highlighted that “the priority objective of this route is to vindicate the value of local gastronomy, strengthen relationships between the livestock sector, commerce and restaurants, as well as promote and encourage the consumption of derived products. of the goat.”
For her part, the Lagunera councilor responsible for the Area, Leticia Villegas, explained that people who try the different tapas offered will be able to vote through the route’s Facebook channel (https://www.facebook.com/rutadelacabra/ ) and, in this way, transfer their evaluations to the specialized jury that will determine the trophy for the winning plating in 2023.
Finally, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez encouraged the Tenerife population to be part of this initiative, which also represents a boost for commerce and restoration in the area.
