A 24-year-old young man has been hospitalized this friday in Tenerife after suffering from poisoning smoke inhalation as a result of a fire in a home in the Tenerife municipality of Los Realejos, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center 1-1-2.
Firefighters went to the scene, rescued the occupant of the house affected by the fire, extinguished the flames and ventilated the property.
Likewise, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service, which transported two ambulances to the scene, provided the first assistance to the affected person, who had poisoning due to smoke inhalation, and referred him to a hospital in Puerto de la Cruz.
In addition, agents from the National Police and the Local Police activated by the Coordination Center secured the area and collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
