VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Oct. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A fourth cayuco arrived this Friday at the port of La Restinga, in the municipality of El Pinar (Tenerife), with a total of 164 migrants on board, Maritime Rescue sources inform Europa Press.
The boat, with 130 men, four women and thirty alleged minors, was detected by the SIVE at 1:17 p.m. about seven miles south of La Restinga and the Salvamar Adhara set out to meet it, which ended up accompanying it safely to the port.
With the arrival of this canoe, the island has accumulated this Friday a total of four boats with 441 migrants on board, while there have also been arrivals in Gran Canaria (74) and Tenerife, in this case with two canoes with 82 and 85 migrants respectively.
Thus, this Friday alone the archipelago has registered the arrival of 682 migrants.
