VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Oct. 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The port of La Restinga, in the municipality of El Pinar (El Hierro), welcomed this Tuesday the arrival of four boats with more than 500 irregular migrants, according to data from Maritime Rescue, the Red Cross and 112 Canary Islands.
The last one arrived at the end of the day with 24 people who were in good general health except for two, who were referred to health centers.
The largest cayuco was the third, arriving in the early afternoon with 280 people on board of sub-Saharan origin, two of them women and ten minors, while two others arrived in the morning, one with 127 people and another with 91.
