The Executive of the Canary Islands approved this Monday, in the Government Council of the Canary Islands, the appointment of Juan Domingo Cabrera Delgado as general director of Assets and Contracting.
After his appointment, Cabrera Delgado will be assigned to the Ministry of Finance and Relations with the European Union of the Government of the Canary Islands, as reported by the regional Executive in a press release.
Cabrera Delgado is Graduate in Law from the University of La Laguna, university expert in Public Sector Contracting from UNED. Since 2000 he has worked as a public employee in the Tenerife Cabildo and since 2003 as a career civil servant.
As a technician of the General Administration, legal branch, he has carried out tasks in the areas of Supervision, Internal Control and Audit, General Intervention and Tourism. In 2008 he joined the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council as general director of the Treasury and from 2015 to date, he served as general director of Environmental Sustainability and Public Services of the same city council with added powers in animal welfare, health and protection of the natural environment. .
