A 48-year-old man died early this Sunday after his home caught fire on Fernández Navarro street Holy Cross of Tenerifeas reported by the Emergency Coordination Center 112 of the Canary Islands Government.
The events happened around 1:40when 112 received an alert reporting that a fire had broken out in a home on the aforementioned street and that there could be people inside.
The man was rescued from inside the house by the fire brigade and was suffering from smoke inhalation poisoning and, once outside, he went into cardiorespiratory arrest.
Immediately, the staff of the Canary Emergency Service He performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without success, so only his death could be confirmed.
The Local Police and Civil Protection collaborated with the emergency services and the National Police took charge of the body until the arrival of the judicial authority, and carried out the corresponding procedures.
