SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The advisor of the Socialist Group in the Cabildo of Tenerife, Manuel Martínez, has urged this Friday the president of the Cabildo, Rosa Dávila, to address the Department of Public Works of the Government of the Canary Islands to put out to tender the works of the ring road of La Laguna, a project valued at 355 million.
In the course of a question to the Minister of Highways, Dámaso Arteaga, Martínez has indicated that the project has all the sectoral reports and the layout project and he does not understand what the “delay” is due to.
“I don’t listen to it as hard as I do with other projects and it is a key project,” he pointed out, emphasizing that since it is a mostly underground route it will not affect mobility too much, as is the case with the construction of the tunnel. Erjos.
Arteaga has pointed out that the Cabildo and the Ministry met in August and warned that this project “is quite advanced” although the “priority” now is the works in progress such as the Erjos tunnel and the Fañabé-Las Américas and Chafiras sections. -Orotheanada.
Regarding the delay with the ring road, he said that “we have to ask” the Government of the Canary Islands because what is up to the Cabildo is to design a “road map” whose results will be seen in the coming months. “Whether it is put out to tender or not, we will have to raise it with the Government,” he pointed out.
