The Provincial Court of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will host a closed-door trial next week in which the Prosecutor’s Office accuses a man of three alleged crimes continued sexual abuse of two minors 16 years old and another 13 years old, of which they were victims his two granddaughters and the daughter of his daughter’s partner.
Likewise, he requests that he pay compensation of 30,000 euros to each one, stay away from them and their brothers for a minimum of 500 meters for ten years and remain on probation for another eight years in case he goes to prison.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, this man was left in charge of one of his granddaughters while his son, who was separated, lived at his parents’ home in Candelaria, especially on alternate weekends and other days, moments that he took advantage of to go to the girl’s bedroom in the morning when they were alone in the house.
Then he proceeded to undress her and tried to consummate the sexual act, there was no evidence that he succeeded because the granddaughter said that it hurt her, but once her desires were satisfied, he asked the minor to wash so that there would be no evidence “of the aberration of her behavior.” ”.
Similar events were repeated in the defendant’s car when it was parked in a garage on the family property, in a shed where the fishing gear from a boat owned by him was stored, and also when the minor was showering at home.

This harassment did not stop until another granddaughter, whose father also separated from his wife, began to reside temporarily at his home, at which time it was repeated again in another minor to whom he also offered gifts and money so that she would not say anything.
For a time the girls kept silent in order not to cause problems in the family, but when a new granddaughter arrived as a result of one of their sons’ relationship with another woman, the victims decided to tell their parents at the same time, although They finally did it separately.
The two children filed a complaint with the Civil Guard and then the daughter of her daughter’s romantic partner also confessed that she had been the victim of touching by the defendant when he came to her house and chased her to the point that she had to close the door. bathroom.
The Prosecutor’s Office indicates that the defendant was guided in all three cases by the same desire to satisfy his lascivious desires and with conscious disregard for the freedom and indemnity of the three minors.
