SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Puerto de la Cruz City Council reopened the Grande beach of Playa Jardín to swimming this Thursday, once the General Directorate of Public Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has determined that the water quality is suitable.
This Wednesday, this bathing area belonging to the Playa Jardín complex had been closed, after the analysis of one of the ordinary water samples that are periodically collected daily on the beach revealed alterations in biological parameters. However, the analysis of a new sample collected yesterday by the Canary Islands government certifies that the quality of the water is suitable for bathing.
The municipal area of Beaches reminds us that periodic water analyzes are carried out on all beaches in the municipality to guarantee that its quality conforms to the parameters established by the General Directorate of Public Health.
