La Laguna will experience an October full of activities: this is the program

The Book Fair, considered the most important literary event in Tenerife, will take over numerous squares in the central area of ​​La Laguna from October 12 to 15more than 200 activities included in the programming.

The stages where the different acts and events will be concentrated will be the Plaza de La Concepción, the Plaza del Adelantado, the Plaza Doctor Olivera and the Plaza de la Catedral.

The XXXV Regional Fair will have a total of 35 exhibitors between bookstores, publishers and institutional exhibitions, in addition to a parallel offering of music and performing arts that will complete the program.

The city will host a large number of authors from different parts of the Archipelago, Spain and Latin America. The presence of the author of several successful novels translated into forty languages, Juan Gómez Jurado, stands out, as well as the poet from Valladolid, winner of the 2019 ESPASAesPOESÍA Award, David Galán Redry.

The activities will be with Free entry until capacity is reached and, among them, there will be a series of actions and events designed for children and families.

10th La Laguna Crafts Exhibition

The La Laguna town council has also launched the call to participate in the ‘X La Laguna Crafts Exhibition’, which will take place in the surroundings of the La Concepción church square Between the days October 20 and 22.

People who wish to be part of this initiative must formalize their request from today until next Sunday, October 1, through the link https://sede.aytolalaguna.es/publico/procedimiento/255.

In total, 38 tents will be offered for the display of products made by artisans, including an identification sign and the usual services in this type of stall such as lighting, security surveillance, tables, chairs, etc. .

The schedule of this activity will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.for October 20 and 21, and 11.00 to 17.00 for October 22, which will serve as the closing of the activity.
