SAN SEBASTIÁN DE LA GOMERA, September 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 42-year-old man has been moderately injured after suffering a fall into the water on the San Marcos de Agulo beach, on the island of La Gomera, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.

The events occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the aforementioned place where the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) helicopter was transported to locate the injured man and proceed to his rescue and then transport him to the Agulo soccer field.

Once at the Agulo soccer field, staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) verified that the affected person had erosions and moderate trauma to his upper limb, so he was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to Hospital Nuestra Lady of Guadalupe.

Agents from the Civil Guard and Civil Protection also appeared at the scene of the incident, collaborating with the emergency services.
