SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo of Tenerife will promote the creation of an industrial incubator in the La Gañanía Industrial Estate, in the municipality of Los Realejos, with the aim of “promoting the launch of business initiatives in this industrial environment in the north of the island.”
This is stated by the Minister of Industry, Manuel Fernández, who recently visited the industrial facilities together with the mayor, Adolfo González, who conveyed to the representative of the Cabildo the implementation of this proposal.
Manuel Fernández points out in a note his interest in including this project in the Cabildo’s budget for 2024, and in this sense, he stressed that “the island government has made a firm commitment to the industry, creating a specific area for the management of this scope in this mandate, so there will be an economic allocation dedicated exclusively to the industry for the first time in the history of the Cabildo”.
For his part, Adolfo González indicated that “this initiative could consolidate La Gañanía as a space to promote business opportunities in the field of industry, in which training and industrial promotion initiatives are also developed.”
For the Industry Councilor of the Cabildo, “the fact of having our own budget allows us to collect all the demands of the municipalities and the industrial sector, with the aim of making available all possible resources to boost and promote the industry in Tenerife” .
With that objective, he said, “we propose a work strategy that, on the one hand, facilitates the access of new industrialists, and on the other, we can offer tools and instruments to already established entrepreneurs to improve their competitiveness.”
