A waiter arrested in Tenerife who turned out to be a Slovak fugitive



A Slovak citizen who was wanted by the authorities of his country for the alleged responsibility of various scams has been arrested in the south of Tenerife, where he worked as a waiter, as reported this Monday by the National Police.

The 29-year-old detainee could serve up to five years in prison in Slovakia and was subject to a European arrest and surrender order.

This man went unnoticed and worked as a waiter in an establishment near the leisure area of ​​the Playa de las Américas area, in the municipality of Adeje, details the Police.

It has been made available to the central investigative courts, through its physical presentation to the Arona guard investigative court, to carry out the delivery process to the authorities of its country.
