A rockfall at kilometer 55 of the TF-5 highway near Icod de los Vinos has led to a partial cut of the road in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Island Council.
The landslide, which occurred on Saturday night at the height of the island ring, at the exit of Icod through Las Lajas, affected a vehicle and firefighters, local police and the Civil Guard went to the scene.

The road was closed until its cleaning and evaluation was completed in the section between the exit of TF-366 and TF-42.
Finally, Highway Conservation cut the road in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife at kilometer 54.4, from where traffic is taken out through the TF-5 exit.
The roundabout at kilometer 51 has also been closed and traffic is diverted along the TF-42
