TENERIFE FILMING |  ‘One less life in the Canary Islands’, the new television series filmed on the Island

Tenerife is the setting chosen for the filming, which is already underway, of the Spanish crime series Una vida menos en Canary Islands. This is an Atresmedia TV production starring Ginés García Millán and Natalia Verbeke. The recording takes place in different settings on the Island and has the advice of the Tenerife Film Commission (TFC), the Tenerife Tourism brand in charge of promoting the island as a place for audiovisual productions, in terms of locations, permits and other related issues. to the production of this recording.

The vice president of the Cabildo, Lope Afonso, maintains that Tenerife “continues to gain specific weight as a reference audiovisual attraction center at a national and international level.”. This is confirmed by this new series, whose filming confirms that the Island is at its best in terms of hosting productions throughout this year and in previous ones. There is a great demand. Companies associated with TFC also participate in the production, such as the Gran Hotel Bahía del Duque Resort (location), Jocar (vehicle rental), Aluzine (lighting), Canary Pictures Vehicles (stage and production vehicles), Gomeralia ( catering), Hotel Silken Atlántida Santa Cruz (accommodation) and The Terraces Luxury Penthouses (accommodation).

The plot

In the series, A homicide team led by two inspectors with opposite personalities solves a criminal case in each episode. Ginés García Millán and Natalia Verbeke star in the fiction where they play, respectively, Luis Lacasa, a veteran inspector who must accept a forced transfer to the Canary Islands, and Naira Oramas, an inspector who loves the islands who, despite their differences and rivalries, He will have to form a good team with Luis. Paco Marín, Sergio Momo, Silvia Naval, Mari Carmen Sánchez, Luna Zuazu, Dariam Coco, María Garralón, Elisa Matilla, Thais Blume and Elena Ballesteros, among others, complete the cast of the fiction that is already being filmed in various locations in Madrid and from the Canary Islands.

One Life Less in the Canary Islands, which will have 5 chapters of 50 minutes in length, is a production by Buendía Estudios Canarias in collaboration with Plano a Plano. César Benítez, Emilio A. Pina, Emilio Amaré, Álvaro Benítez, Ignacio Corrales and Fran Carballal are the executive producers of this fiction whose premiere is part of the Series Atresmedia label. Lucía Alonso-Allende is co-executive producer. The fiction, created by Fran Carballal, Enrique Lojo and Curro Royo, will be directed by Inma Torrente and Moisés Ramos Paíno.

Enrique Lojo, Nano López Moure, Pablo Manchado and Nerea Gil (screenwriters), Fran Carballal and Raquel Busca (script coordinator and analyst, respectively) Emilio Perea (Production Director) Purificación Adorna (Art), Víctor Tejedor Navares (Photography), Alberto Luna (Costume) and Ángel Armada (editing and post-production) complete the team.
