Tenerife live a day with many traffic jams on two of its most important roads: the TF-2 and the TF-5. Specifically, the traffic jams on the highway that runs through the north of the island were caused by a traffic accident between two vehicles near La Matanza de Acentejo. The traffic jam has occurred in the north direction and reaches San Cristobal de La Laguna.
The second accident occurred on the road that connects TF-1 with TF-5. Two vehicles have collided in the Guajara area, within the municipality of San Cristobal de La Laguna, which has also caused traffic jams in the direction of the northern highway interchange.
1-1-2 Canarias has activated emergency resources in both locations. At the moment, it has not emerged if there are any injuries.
