Maritime Rescue rescued this Friday 58 men of sub-Saharan origin located aboard a cayuco 22 kilometers away south of Gran Canariaa spokesperson for the state company informed EFE.

The canoe was detected by the radar of the SIVE coastal surveillance system, which provided the Salvamar Macondo assumption.
The rescue ship heads out with those 58 people on board and the cayuco in tow to the port of Arguineguinwhere it is expected to arrive around 9:30 am.
