Three people have been injured to varying degrees in a multiple traffic accident that occurred this Thursday morning on the TF-4, the entry and exit route from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to the TF-1 through the Fairgrounds.
As indicated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2), this is a 54-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented trauma to the chest and shoulder. of a moderate nature, so she was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Quirónsaud Tenerife Hospital. Another of the injured was a 17-year-old adolescent who, at the initial time of assistance, had mild neck pain and was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Quirónsaud Tenerife Hospital.
The third injured person was a 52-year-old man who had minor trauma to his back. He was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Quirónsaud Tenerife Hospital.
The incident occurred in the southbound direction minutes before 8:00 a.m. in the morning, when 1-1-2 received an alert warning that a rear-end collision between three vehicles had occurred that could be caused by some obstacles that were present. on the road, resulting from the partial loss of a truck’s load.
Members of the Fire Brigade Consortium had to free the three injured people from inside the vehicle as its doors were blocked.
The staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided healthcare to all those affected and transferred them to the aforementioned hospital.
Meanwhile, the Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
The Insular Highway Center has been in charge of cleaning the road.
