SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo of Tenerife will launch the ‘Tenerife Gastronomy Art Lab’ (TGAL) to promote the tourism sector linked to gastronomy.
The Governing Council held this Wednesday approved the contracting file and the specifications of particular administrative clauses and technical prescriptions that must govern the tender for the consulting service for the implementation of the design, organization and execution of training actions, development of innovation projects and communication actions aimed at the gastronomic sector of Tenerife.
The objective of the contract is the development of the consulting service for the launch of the ‘Tenerife Gastronomy Art Lab’ (TGAL) through the design, organization and delivery of training, innovation and communication actions for the sector.
The action, which involves an investment of 230,000 euros, is included within the ‘Tenerife Reset’ project whose corporate purpose is the promotion, development and enhancement of economic activities, especially tourism activity in Tenerife.
In the area of Municipal Cooperation, the Government Council also approved the contracting and the list of administrative clauses that will govern the contract for the works included in the Florida Baja sanitation project, as well as other interventions in septic tanks in the municipality of La Orotava.
The works are included in the Island Cooperation Plan for works and services under municipal jurisdiction and have a budget of around 1.7 million euros.
Within the area of Natural Environment, Sustainability and Security and Emergencies, Addendum No. 17 to the collaboration agreement with the Spanish Red Cross on civil protection was approved, as well as the collaboration agreement between the State Meteorological Agency, the Island Council of Tenerife and the Tenerife Island Water Council on meteorology and climate.
On the other hand, in the area of Sports, the agreement between the Cabildo of Tenerife and the Adeje City Council for the construction of the Las Torres soccer field was approved.
The action is part of the Tenerife Sports Infrastructure Plan 2022-2026 and the island Corporation will contribute 400,000 euros of the total budget for the action, which amounts to two million euros.
