SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A cyclist has been seriously injured after suffering an accident with a vehicle in the municipality of Tías, in Lanzarote, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred last night around 00:20, when 1-1-2 received an alert reporting a collision between a car and a bicycle on Avenida de las Playas, with the driver of the latter being injured.
Once at the scene, the SUC personnel assessed and assisted the injured man, a 45-year-old man, who had severe trauma to the skull and, once stabilized, he was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police instructed the corresponding procedures.
