Cuauhtémoc, the Knight of the Seas, as he is also known, has 90 meters long, 12 meters wide, three masts and 23 sails. It is precisely there where one of his most spectacular maneuvers can be seen, when some of his 112 cadets climb several tens of meters above the ground in one of the visitors’ favorite moments.
Cuauhtémoc’s journey began on April 1, from Acapulco, in his country. From that moment on, after visiting the United States and Cuba, she began her trip to Europe. After docking in places like France or the United Kingdom, she arrived in Spain (Gijón, Ibiza, La Coruña and Cádiz), arriving today in Tenerife. During its journey, a total of 247 days, the ship will dock in 18 ports in 13 different countries.

How and when can I visit Cuauhtémoc?
From its arrival today, until next Tuesday, September 19, all people who want will be able to visit the training ship from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., although on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays you can access the interior until 8:00 p.m. .
During their long journey, the 112 cadets of the fourth year of the Heroic Naval Military School of Mexico will apply the knowledge they have acquired throughout their career. The sailboat, conceived by Naval Engineer Juan José Alonso Verástegui and built at the Celaya Shipyards and Workshops, Bilbao in 1982, has sailed through the seas and oceans of the entire globe since its creation and can now be seen in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
