
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Maritime Rescue has rescued a boat with 43 people on board when they were in waters near the island of El Hierro, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands and the Red Cross.
Once rescued, the migrants were taken to the port of La Restinga, in El Pinar, where they arrived on Thursday night and were assisted by the health device deployed in the area.
After being assisted by the health device on site, no transfer to medical centers was necessary.
