This Tuesday, the Plenary Session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands held a minute of silence for the victims of the earthquake that shook Morocco last Friday and cost the lives of almost 3,000 people.
“More than 18,000 Moroccans live in the Canary Islands and we cannot be oblivious to the pain of so many people who live just 100 kilometers from our archipelago,” said the president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, Astrid Pérez.
